This research conducted by the College in High School Alliance in partnership with the Minnesota P-20 Education Partnership’s Dual Credit Working Group focused on funding logic, built-in disincentives, and limited access challenges.  Remedies look to legislative support and funding for pilot sites to test the legacy underwriting inhibitors and access issues.

Minnesota has a rich and proud history of dual credit programing that needs to appreciate its current state, including systemic barriers that have evolved over time and that are largely rooted in funding and program reach.
