We typically do not refer readers to content that requires a subscription, but thought this one Who should pay for textbooks? is an exception because it deals with the cost side of the equation — a dimension of dual enrollment that doesn’t get much coverage in media.

Costs associated with program participation are likely to become more of a policy issue as dual enrollment continues to grow in leaps and bounds…success in dual enrollment participation will stretch legislative budgets for underwriting costs and participating post-secondary and secondary institutions will need to find solutions.  This article looks specifically at the costs of books.
