Teacher Shortage addressed through a New Program in Ohio

This is another creative approach to filling the teacher pipeline for K12.  Governor DeWine introduced a new pathway to becoming a teacher through the State’s Apprenticeship structure. this affords some programing aspects in Apprenticeships that provide credit for prior experience and wage incentives that follow progress toward licensure. the program targets people who are already attached to public education, but are not in teaching roles.  Read the NEWS RELEASE HERE Read More
